First of all, the forum has been removed. It stopped working back in early December when I had some issues with the server, and I never got around to fixing it. For now, just email me with any questions about my apps.

Second, a lot of people have been asking for bug fixes and new features in my LDS Hymns with Music app. Believe me, I would love to make some much-needed changes. Two things, however, are preventing me from doing so. First is lack of time; I’m finishing up my final semester at UVU, and also working close to full time. Second, I have been invited to contribute to the LDS Music for Android project on tech.lds.org. After graduation and a week or two of rest, I plan to focus my efforts on that project. If all goes well and the app receives official approval from the Church, it will replace LDS Hymns with Notes.

I have added forums to the site, mostly to help me receive feedback like bug reports and feature requests. Currently there is only one topic (Children’s Songbook) but I plan to add more in the future.

Spring semester is almost finished, just a couple more weeks and I’ll have time to get some much-needed work done on the Hymns app. I also fully intend to get a beta for the Children’s Songbook up and running for anyone who’s interested.

ldsdudes.com was down for a bit while I moved everything over to a new host. It may still be a few more days before everyone’s DNS servers  are updated to point to this new site, but during that time there should be no issues downloading the hymn data for LDS Hymns with Notes.
